Me

My name is Jessica and I live in St. Louis, MO.  I am married with two children.

I love coffee, travel, writing, laughing, red wine, hiking, music and people.

I also have a deep affection for photography.

My current camera is a Canon PowerShot S100 – – a small, point and shoot that is almost always with me.  I do not manipulate my photos other than cropping, auto correcting or changing color to black and white.

My intention is that this photo blog will help me develop my eye and steady my lens.  I want to emphasize my passion for seeing things just a bit differently and not only finding but extracting beauty – – sometimes, even, in the unexpected.

Along the way, I’m hoping to learn a thing or two – – about the world, about people, about myself.
